I saw an article last week suggesting there were significant amounts of Moderna expiring and getting thrown away due to lack of demand in the younger age ranges. Don't recall it saying how many batches had been thrown away, but it seems a crying shame given there are so many countries desperate for vaccine.
If you don’t feel safe going back you should consider ‘emigrating’ for a while, I don’t think anyone would consider it immoral. I definitely would (in fact I might do for some away games).
My wife got her second Moderna jab early at Elland Road. Don't know if it's feasible for you to travel there, but I took her so she was jabbed up before we went to Wales.
Avoid hugs, ‘high-fives’, handshakes, or other close contact with those not in your social group I hope those two blokes who got caught loving in the Ponty End bogs are taking note of that!
I’ll be doing exactly the same, I’m in the at risk category with asthma, and high blood pressure since my brain bleed. There’s no way I’m throwing away the steps and care I’ve taken this past 18 months. It might be hard for some people to understand as this virus is an invisible killer - but for those of us who are or may be vulnerable to it there’s no other choice really other than to mask up, keep hand washing and distancing where possible and staying as safe as we can
Looked at the Eticketing map and it's very busy in all three stands. Looks like despite current circumstances we are going to have busy crowds.
That shows season tickets sold, not necessarily how many will attend. I’ll be included in attendance figures for first few matches but I won’t be there.
In early 2020 there were weeds and what looked like (to my untrained eye) an oak sappling growing from the cracks in the brick walls. I'd find myself staring at them whilst emptying my mind amongst other things and wondering how the hell they got there and what sustained them.
