Well you've got the opportunity to have one without now. I just think that sponsors are always a big part of a football kit. It's what has made a lot of kits iconic. Think of the ORA kits.
Obviously we are all entitled to our opinion, but I do think we've become conditioned to accept shirt sponsors - people think they look 'bare' / like a 'training top' without one? I'd say they are a necessary evil, we'll accept it because we need the cash, and this new initiative is certainly an improvement on Hex. But I can't say the sponsors are iconic; Ora makes us remember the team, but the team would have been no less special without a sponsor, and football would definitely be preferable without shirt sponsorship altogether. Surely we want to see the club colours not be told which random online betting service to use??
