What a shitshow. They should have to forfeit.

Fair enough for us to not want another home game given that 6 of the first 10 league games are already at home and we would end up with between 3 and 6 away games on the trot in January depending on FA Cup progress and draws. So, absolutely the right decision by us on that issue.

I guess Bristol will say that the ground can't be divided in any other way to give us the required 10% which may or may not be the case but surely they can allow the home disabled facilities to be shared?

And surely there should be some sanction on Bristol for demolishing a stand before having planning permission for a replacement?

It's not outside of their control though is it. They decided to start the works late and before planning permission had been granted.
They should forfeit the game 3-0 and if we'd done the same, I'm sure the leniency strangely being accorded to them would not be shown to us.

They probably think zero disabled tickets is an acceptable number and that they shouldn’t be expected to demand any…

The club shouldn’t be allowed to accept no disabled tickets being provided. It’s not them that’s being discriminated against, it’s the fans.

They could have just agreed to host their 'home' game at Oakwell.

Can't believe we've accepted no disabled tickets as acceptable. Bristol Rovers should have been forced to move their home fans elsewhere to avoid breaking allocation rules.

How do you know we have. ? The EFL can change the criteria if necessary.
I do agree though that not having the disabled catered for is unfair at best. Unless they have no disabled facilities for home fans which I doubt.

I d be surprised if the EFL would want to open itself up to possible legal action if Khaled had brought this up as a concern.

I think Helen he could possibly have raised the issue. But the EFL have rights to change the guidelines/rules As have the premier with the Luton issue

Very pleased to see that! Well done Level Playing Field and whichever supporters brought it to their attention. Disappointed that BFC didn’t stick up for their disabled fans in the first place though but glad there has been a resolution.

    Spot-on JD !
I would guess it was a supporter who brought it to the attention of Bristol Rovers.
I don't think there is anyone at the Club with responsibility for disabled supporters.
Couple of weeks ago we had the patronising Club Statement saying 'we have 82 disabled parking spaces......this is an acceptable offer.'
Club should have a Disability Access Officer where the wide ranging needs be they physical or mental of disabled supporters can be addressed.

It was definitely supporters as the statement says so. I would have presumed it would have been the Supporter’s Trust but I haven’t seen a statement by them so not sure.
