Apols if posted elsewhere, not read all the threads yet but this is from Lancs Telegraph:- "Rovers have made Barnsley right-back Callum Brittain their first summer signing. The 24-year-old has put pen to paper over a four-year contract at Ewood Park and joins for a fee that could eventually rise to seven figures." Blackburn Rovers fans give verdict on Callum Brittain signing from Barnsley | Lancashire Telegraph
CALLUM BRITTAIN JOINS THE REDS - News - Barnsley Football Club (barnsleyfc.co.uk) The article announcing his signing for us says an undisclosed fee.
Just started scrolling through the comments from Rovers fans and this one jumps out: ".....And from what I’ve heard, he was one of Barnsley’s best players last season" No point reading any further, is there
Always saw Callum as an attitude player. If he approved of the system and the back room staff, he was a good player. If not, he showed it on the field and last year there was a lot that he didn't like. Non of us did. He would have been good for us this season. Best of luck to him at his new club.
He was. I’m certain he landed one on a Barnsley player’s head, at least once. Or maybe he did it twice?
No, be fair. I’m sure he landed at least one last season. The previous season even better, but everything was better then of course. I’m sure he’ll hit the mark a few times for his new club. It won’t last though.
Pushed as much as I could' - Callum Brittain on Blackburn Rovers move from Barnsley & new season - LancsLive. Pity he didn't push himself on the pitch last season instead of whingeing. https://www.lancs.live/sport/footba...brittain-blackburn-barnsley-transfer-24576213
That really annoys me, and it makes me think we're better off without him. And its the same with any player in fact, who has that attitude of doing as much as he can to leave our club.
Glad he has gone with a attitude like that. Always thought his attitude was poor when slating everyone in public when he should have looked in the mirror. But "i pushed as much as i could" good riddance.
