    Both clubs agree on a set time to announce. And it's just human nature to go with a 10, or 10.30 isn't it? Be a bit weird if we said "let's go at 9.54"

    I never even thought about the fact you both tend to announce things at the same time so have to agree a time.
    Next time suggest 9:54 though just to see their reaction

    That's true, but we could have been "thrilled" to announce the loan deal. Perhaps the wording of the announcement betrays a certain disappointment that other deals did not materialise.

    Welcome Claudio. Decent window. Got rid of some surplus players. No major departures. We can only pick 11 so players so don't know where the deals done leave a few still at the club.

    A lot pinned on these Belgian strikers but we wait n' see.

    I think you’re looking for something that isn’t there. We’ve just managed to get one of Man City’s brightest talents to come for the full season, in a position we were desperately short in. Not guaranteed to work but I’m pretty certain there’s zero disappointment that we’ve signed him or missed out on players we wouldn’t pay the transfer fee for.

    The VT was probably one of the best to put together.

    The kid clearly has talent. The question will be whether he can play "mens football"... as he himself puts it. We've had some really good kids here (Harvey Barnes). We've also had some very talented kids who were completely lost. Crowley and Ugbo being the most obvious two.

    Fingers crossed he settles in and finds he can adapt and thrive.

    I met an agent once. Looked after Kyode & Danger, Danger Nile Ranger. He told me only one in 10 at best, transfer enquiries or talks actually go through.
    I like the cut of this lads jib.. :)

    I've just looked at more footage of the lad and he looks like the real deal.
    Like others, I'm pretty cautious about making assumptions on the basis of a few minutes on You Tube, but this kid looks like a proper footballer. Him and Josh could be awesome in the centre of the park.
    Very excited to see him play.
    Second best transfer window ever!!
