Not sure this is right (hopefully). He has 8 bookings and you get a 2 match ban for 10 after 37 games. So he gets one tomorrow and one Tuesday he would get 2 games and we would be in a right mess for Donny. Anything else and we are ok- you are then allowed 14 by the end of the season until suspension kicks in.
If we are in league 1 next season then yes it will have been a shocking January. Hopefully the players we have bought under this scouting set up can step up, Styles, Green etc. Otherwise what was the point in signing them? Not to mention the kid on loan at Bradford, what a farce that was!
The league is trying to screw us. We're not as big as Sunderland or Portsmouth so this is some BS we gotta deal with.
Yep. 70 points in 35 games. On for 92 points. This total would have seen automatic promotion in each of the last 10 season's from League One. 24 points in last 10 games. Since a SHOCKING January. We'll see.
Not having a go, just interested in your opinion. Have you seen the angle of the incident posted by Blivy, couple of posts up from yours? I'm struggling with how anyone can watch that and not conclude it was an accident. Not just that, but an accident that caused no injury because as Cameron realised he couldn't stop himself landing on the lad, he made absolutely sure he put no weight through that leg. I've tried to look at this as objectively as I can and I can't see anything but an accident. All the stuff that goes off in football, and we're no better than the rest, yet someone gets charged for this. Just seems so unjust. We're penalising a player who made sure he didn't hurt an opponent. Seems so wrong to me.
Nobody can convince me it was accidental. The angles posted since the event have all been carefully chosen to show cameron in a positive light. He was jumping over the player, had he continued on, he would have been nowhere near him, then he stamped down in a very unnatural way, i'm afraid. "But the player moved his leg" yes, but cam would have stamped on him anyway, where his leg was previously.
We need a petition . The FA have double standards and it needs pointing out (as if anyone didn’t know ) That was in no way a deliberate stamp and even less dangerous than some they gave not even looked at. I’m sure if we start one and highlight what’s being punished and what’s not it will gather momentum.
