My guess is they will retain their stake, as it is obvious new directors might actually MAKE some money for them to run away with?

I read it like t'old Julie is just the new voice piece for them coz they're too busy 'running' the other 78 clubs they've 'bought'. Or am just been a tad cynical?!?

He left about 2 years ago. I'm guessing Neerav bought his shares. For some reason PC kept talking about him as being part of the board. No idea why.

The cynic in me does wonder if this has been announced to boost season ticket sales. Then more facts emerge at the press conference on 27th May that we are still 'owned' by the same people and that the same issues (except Conway) remain?

I'm shocked! ;-) Do you know any more about Lee's investment? He was noted as the person with a significant holding at companies house.

He got involved in RedBall Corp (which i think the Fenway Group were heavily involved in) if I recall. Probably meant a conflict of interest.

Given the timescales to the end of the early bird, there needs to be something of a leap of faith to do this. But, as someone firmly in the NAPM camp, it's one I'm going to seriously consider.

Ideally, it'd be great if the club extended the early bird to the 31st May, which is when unrenewed season tickets become available to others, but I'm not counting on this being the case.

At the moment there are countless unanswered questions to be resolved around the ownership, etc. However, the removal from influence of Conway and Lee is a massively significant step in pointing towards a positive change of direction in the running of the club.

I'm quite pleased with the news, given the initial reading I have done in the last half hour. But I am aware it might be a case of 'any news is good news' re. Conway's exit.
I'm quite interested to see how things pan out.

2 immediate questions that spring to mind:
Has the £750k been put back in our bank account?
Is the court case now dead and buried and we can move forward?

It's the decision making that has been the issue for me. I don't mind who owns the club, but there's been a distinct lack of direction for the last 12 months. That's down to pure negligence. They've built up this profile of clubs, and not thought about how they're going to maintain them. It's like Peter Ridsdale's tropical aquarium on a grand scale. We're essentially just an orangespine unicorn fish.

    This is fantastic news.

We still in limbo as to whether ground improvements and rebuilding etc will get done
