The decision to appoint Poya was worse than the decision to appoint Schopp, as it was so obviously contrary to what was needed at the time to rescue our season. Given how low my expectations were for him, the fact that he failed to meet them is pretty damning of his tenure in charge. I had some sympathy for him initially, but he managed to ultimately exhaust that with his unrelenting negativity and his utterly lacklustre demeanour, both on the touchline and in interviews. If there's one fundamental requirement for the next incumbent it has to be a basic amount of gravitas that he can bring into the role which suggests that he's capable of inspiring players to improve, at some basic level.
“A really cool experience” I’ve changed my mind. Apologies to Mr Schopp and Mr Spackman, this guy is now my worst manager ever thanks to this statement
This comment stands out a mile. It's nice we added a cool experience to Poya's CV.. What a charlatan.
