"Known for his intensive training" big fan of those words, feeling optimistic about this one, will need time and patience to get his ideas across with a few changes to the playing personal, but truly believe he's got all the attributes and characteristics to be a succes. Welcome aboard DC
Ive never heard of him, Clarke OUT!!. The football under him is just so dull and I can't stand it anymore... etc, etc!!. Does that sound familiar ?.
Well pleased with this. Good no nonsense man manager, who got the best out of some pretty average players last season at Cheltenham. Knows League One well. Good contacts with clubs for players. Good appointment.
Nahh Id have preferred Coke instead of Pepsi lol. If he does well with us, maybe Lutaarn will steal him off us in January for a tenner.
**** me sideways. I do quite a bit of freelance work in marketing and customer comms. Coatch. Seriously? That is absolutely embarrassing. Great appointment though! Now let's just bring Conor home.
It's unsurprising really. The ones who are against it appear to be the ones who haven't put a realistic alternative forward all summer.
Can't for the life of me think what planet they live on, couldn't have asked for a more experienced, honest hard working head coach. Ticks all the boxes for me that we realistically could appoint.
Welcome 'Coatch' Clarke. The proof will be in the pudding but initially not unhappy with this appointment at all. I just hope he has the nuts to stand up and point out to the Board that the squad needs a massive upgrading in quality all round. As of 1st July the club will possess just 2 players, Phillips and Connell (assuming a return to full health) that are consistently good enough for the upper realms of L1 based on performances for this club. There are maybe 4, Pines (insufficient sample size), Jalo (insufficient sample size), Cosgrove (late season/play-off version, yes, earlier versions, no) and Earl (Fleetwood/early games after transfer, yes, afterwards, no) that could add to that. The rest of the remaining first team squad are simply not good enough; most, especially the defenders, by a wide margin.
Welcome Darrell. May you have many seasons of success with BFC. Onwards and Upwards! I am a little tickled that it is another appointment that blindsided everyone on here. I do see a little difficulty with too many Rs and Ls and an E on the end of the last name, which could be a challenge for this board. However, the Media team got us all off to a flying start with a superfluous T in the announcement.
