Said it so many times if buying a season ticket was just about going to games I would have stopped years ago. It’s more about the day in general , meeting up with people you wouldn’t see otherwise . The quality time I get to spend with my son going to games outweighs the negatives .

 

If my son didn’t come to all the games with me I may not have bothered.

I asked him, once, whether he wanted me to renew our tickets and the look of panic on his face when he realised I was considering not doing so made renewal inevitable.

Realistically I’d have probably caved and done it anyway, but my boy is 16, won’t be home forever, and it’s the only quality time we usually get together so I wouldn’t give it up.

 

I haven't renewed yet, I probably will, but I'm enjoying it less and less every time I go

The fact it takes me over 2 hours each way and I have an amazing 1 year old Daughter at home only makes me even less certain now

In your instance I'd have the family time with your daughter for a few years. You don't get those early years back and they change so quickly!
