    Who is the star striker ? surely not Chaplin , it cannot be Dike as he wasn"t our player , all the others have gone out on loan , have I missed someone ?

    The recent few months have been so bad i don't think we'd lose our s###t no matter who's brought in' infact there seems to have been a distinct lack of interest from the fans really' its like we really couldn't care less' what a great job the board av done of uniting us as one big happy family...

    Be realistic mate....he won’t leave Plymouth for us!......he onto a good season there and we would pay his composure......like a said Alex Neil fits bill, decent CV....out of work so no compo....and ex red to boot!.....saying that we will prob get another foreign coach

    Does that mean that Dike didn't score 9 times and assist 4 times in his 19 appearances last season then?

    He wasn't our player after all.

    No, it means that a player who was on loan & paid to play for us until the end of the season went back to his parent club, he was never our player & we did not get rid of him , or are you suggesting he was our player & If so we dropped a gooley getting rid of Harvey Barnes , Ryan Kent & Josh Brownhill etc etc because under the same theory we got rid of those as well .

    I wouldn't want her, but in terms of punditry football is full of cliches and perhaps they work better in that context? The alternative is the likes of Sam Matterface, who last night declared 'welcome to England, Emile Smith Rowe!' when coming on as sub. [He's making his England debut Sam, not entering the country for the first time.] He then kept going on about him being known as the Croydon De Bruyne and how he's stopped eating mars bars for a more balanced diet, and if I didnt misinterpret it, suggesting that cutting out mars bars was a deciding factor in him making the England squad :D Would take Hayes' punditry any day.

    In fairness Jay said 'departures', not that we got rid of Dike. And it's true, he was our star striker and he did depart. And he is a very big loss, regardless of whether we had him on loan or not.
