    It begs the question of why this has happened? Several posters would have you believe that Collins has lost the dressing room yet our hottest prospect is happy to extend his contract. Make it make sense

    In fairness, in recent weeks I see a lot more strawman attacks on “everyone having a go at Collins” than actual attacks as he’s growing into the role and making less mistakes.

    To be fair to the board, they are starting to get some things right, that we'd previously accuse the club of getting wrong. Doubt that many expected contract extensions for Connell, Phillips and Jalo, or the sort of fees that we held out for for Andersen and Kitching.

    Just need to back it up with better transfer windows for incoming players than we had in the summer.

    There probably is a clause in there. But the fee would still be considerably higher than what we'd get if he didn't sign the contract.

    Yeah, he’s slowly getting less reactive, showing more passion, picking players in the right position and on form as well as starting to show a bit of identity. Long way to go yet but I see a lot less criticism at the moment than talk of people criticising. Would be brill to see him build on it for a few years.

    Or the more logical explanation that we’re a bit better because Connell & Roberts have replaced Killip & Russell & the defence are gelling
