    It's actually a very common thing that a lot of websites do. Facebook has the same thing on their website.

    It's because a few years ago there was issues with scammers instructing users to open the developer consoles and paste commands in to 'unlock features' or 'hack a friends account' or something else that people might want to do on facebook etc. but what actually sent the users' session cookie or other information to a third party site. So facebook added this warning in, to try and alert users that they shouldn't paste things into there.
