Im sure the club will have codes out and that iFollow will be trouble free. So ill await with patience the codes and to arrive in the next half a day or so.
I’m not sure how many Smart TV browsers support HTML5 Video. Presumably this is what is used by the iFollow streaming service, since it won’t run in Chromium on my Raspberry Pi. Interestingly, the Interviews work, but not the live streams / full match replays.
If none come in the morning bud, text me and I'll try help. But we will be on the way to London so not office based.
got it mate, it was in the spam. Just a quick question though, I have one code and Connor has a ST on same account. He is living in Manchester So does he get a code against his ST or is it per household. Thanks for your help mate.
Don't know if my experience on setting iFollow up on my iPad ready for tomorrow's game is unique or is common to many subscribers. In the end, I had to ask my son to call round as unlike myself , he works in IT and can sort most problems out. First job was to not use the Clubs Official website and download the Barnsley app instead. After several abortive attempts at setting me up, he had to wipe all the " historical" cookies and regular password information ( re- Pets at Home, nPower, Virgin Media etc etc) from the system. All that entails in the future, is when I go on any of those sites I will have to re-input my e-mail address and password which is no hardship really. Once that was done, he was able to input the appropriate user name and password. He then clicked on the toolbar at the foot of the page marked "Matches. " Thirty minutes before kick off tomorrow I just have to click on "Fixtures" and I will hopefully be able to watch the game against QPR. I do hope you manage to get it sorted JLWBigLil. I must admit, left to my own devices without outside help, I'd still be trying to set it up.
Don't know but you can easily get a screen mirroring app on your smart phone which will put the picture on your smart tv.
I’ve just downloaded the app and it works miles better than the website on the iPad, will be using it tomorrow for the game.
Any idea if I'd get a better more stable and possibly better quality picture using a usb to hdmi cable from phone to TV rather than trying to cast it? Or would it be roughly the same?
Unless they've changed it, ifollow blocks a lot of screencasting apps/programs. I've only ever been able to get it on my TV with an HDMI cable. There's probably somebody who can recommend one that works though!
thats what my daughter did for me ( i think) downloaded the i follow app onto my telly via google (????) then put that code thing in and wuhooooo for tomorrow. . . . . i hope
