If his English was as poor as they made out and he really needed an interpreter then he’s worked his nads off to learn that much that quickly. You can only assume the work ethic spreads to his primary focus - coaching the team - let’s hope it rubs off on the squad as if they work as hard we will do well. I like our prospects at the moment, roll on Oxford.
Well done Daniel. Great attitude and you can tell he really wants this to work. I wish you every success and hope your efforts are rewarded. Great first interview. What's not to like?
Just watched it and well done. Not just for Daniel for doing it and being brave, if a little frustrated with himself at times, but the interviewer for being patient and trying to keep it simple. I can't imagine how tough it is to move to a new country and culture with very limited language and give it a go. Ballsy, and he deserves a lot of credit for that alone. I don't know why, but I think we might have a good one here, lets give him time and be patient. It will take time to shift from a team that couldn't press at all and didn't really play the ball on the floor very much, to what he wants. Fingers crossed hes given the time and resources and backing to get there.
I agree with you , he did very well , lets hope that when radio Sheffield stick a microphone under his nose , they ask questions in a slow clear manner & not fire rapid questions at him in a broad yorkshire accent & give him a chance to respond.
