Dont get that, do church's change there names..? I'd have thought quite the reverse, once it's consecrated that's it's name for good..
If a name change is exciting, I can't wait to read the adjective used on the official site when our CEO announces his long drawn out news.
Have you actually read it in context. It's a trust statement not the clubs. Or would you prefer no communication.
Pedantic response and you know it. You called out the club. For a response. I gave you one instead. Shame you've got nowt better to moan about. A statement in context. But you had to twist it. To have another go.
How is it a pedantic response? The club have put a statement about the clubs charity on the club's website including a quote from the clubs director but you are saying it's not the club statement.
Absolutely pathetic. Get back to the statement. From the head of the trust which is a department within the club. Ffs grow up. As I said pedant.
No just the exciting bit. Does this help. Head of Foundation at Barnsley FC Community Trust Kieron Campbell said: “It is with EXCITEMENT that we are able to release our new name, Barnsley FC Community Trust. Not a director Hence the next bit. "This is something that we have been in discussions with the Football Club around for a number of months to enhance the one club, one community commitment. As an independent charity, we are proud to deliver community and charitable activities on behalf of the Football Club and although we have changed our name, we continue to drive forward with our mission of using the power of Barnsley Football Club to inspire, improve and positively change live9s in our community." Pedant. and done.
*Ahem* Following a recent change within our organisation the charity will now be known as Barnsley FC Community Trust (formally Reds in the Community) This change is publicly effective from Friday 28th July 2023. The decision comes after the organisation comes through a transitional period and this exciting change reflects the mission and values the charity hope to achieve going forward. So no, not just that quoted bit at all. If you'd read it you'd see that the article from the club called it this exciting change. The quote comes much later.
Really. read the bit after. Are you still saying the quote is from the club. And not the charitable arm. The bit from the club comes from JAQ. Later. You choose. If we differ fine. End of.
