Now that's exactly the type of signing I personally have been looking forward to us making. Chelsea and Liverpool, the ideal pedigree. A very warm Oakwell welcome Isaac. Hope your stay is a long and productive one.
Just spoke to a Liverpool supporting mate of mine about him. Says he was used as an attacking midfielder/ forward by them, decent finisher, although Klopp had issues with his attitude. My mate was quite excited when they managed to pinch him off Chelsea but it didn't seem to work out for him.
10 minutes ago I checked Isaac C.D. on Wikipedia and on his official page it said what made him sign for Barnsley was when he was in the town recently he met a guy on a bike who told him his name was Nudger and this guy showed him what he referred to as 'his bridge.' Isaac was so impressed he signed for BFC. Checked back and this 'info' has now been taken down off Wikipedia.
Obviously not the experience Struber sez he wants but presumably got the potential and ability that we can see the benefit from.Still hope Struber unlike Stendel gets his wish and we bring a couple more championship ready players in .
come on lads and lasses you've missed the main point about Isaac Christie-Davies - he's a Taff - and all the Taff players signed by BFC in the paSThave done us proud..................now if we could persuade Bale or Neco William to head this way........... !
Know nothing of the lad. Looking at his career, I expected him to be a bit younger I’m not sure why, but I wish him well. I imagine he’s someone who will be eased into it rather than go straight in the team. Particularly with who we have got that play in his position.
Not heard of the lad before but has pedigree from being at some top clubs previously. Based on the few clips I have seen of him (granted gotta take these with a pinch of salt) he looks to be a tall, dynamic CM who can certainly pick a pass. His height and frame should help him cope with the physical side of the championship.
Yes - looking at the clips on YouTube he very much reminds me of Anderson de Silva. Probably because of his height and how he runs.
