    Wycombe fans are absolutely creaming themselves. Didn't realise that he'd done a year there on loan and got their POTY award. A lot of them seem to think he'll play in midfield, which is obviously one way of dealing with his defensive deficiencies. I must admit I'm a little disappointed he's gone as I genuinely expected him to shine this season. Having said that, the reasons for his departure are pretty clear, so I just hope it works out for him.

    I don’t think even hecky was tactically clueless enough to tell him to allow crosses over.

    It’s obvious the new regime want pace from their full backs. Let’s hope he does well as there will be a tidy sell on clause.
