Look at Newcastle, Papiss Cissé was the reason they went down

Look at Aston Villa, Agbonlahor was the reason they went down

Look at Norwich, Cameron Jerome was the reason they went down

Excellent. I love it when we sign players I've either heard little, or nothing, of. The better known players brought in these past few years have usually ended up being the biggest disappointments.

We need one to replace Fletcher going back and probably one to replace Winnall being sold for good money. So if we go up we will probably hope to sign a proven scorer to partner Watkins and then have a couple of these "future potential" types on the bench and the rest in the developmental for now.

And none of those have scored consistently recently in the Premier League

Wel that's the problem. But someone like O'Grady surely wouldn't be out of our reach?

    Kayden?

What I want to know is whatever happened to proper names like Jack, Bob, John and Jim. Kayden, FFS

May as well stay where we are, if that's our ambition for a striker, dear me.

The same Chris O'Grady who's scored about 5 goals since he left Barnsley? Now a couple of years older than when he played for us first time?

No thanks. Let's keep this positive vibe going. That would be a deflating backward step.

For the first summer in God knows how long I don't care who's on any teams released list because I reckon Barnsley have it in hand and have a list of who they want. And I'll probably not have heard of any of them. Perfect.
