Too highly rated by his parent club I think- we’d probably need to push for promotion this season to afford him!
This lad will be even better this coming season. His time here and championship experience of the last year will stand him in good stead. The championship holds no fear for him.
I like to think it's another sign that the board are allowing a little flexibility with The Plan. Also that they trust Struber's judgement. Both of which are good things IMHO.
I’m a big advocate of ‘the plan’ but if we can make loan signings like this then it should be flexed. Bringing him back is great business and I honestly thought we had no chance. Well done to all involved.
I also doubt that he would have climbed back on board without some understanding that Struber wasn't about to desert the ship.
To be fair , he was on loan here last season , so there was a tweak in the system before now , we will have to see how things develop.
Great news. Optimistic that the former recruitment policy is under scrutiny and Struber is allowed to build a squad capable of making a fist of it in what is a very demanding league.
A rare thread where we're all in agreement. He's certainly adapted well to British football & was a key part in us staying up.
Excellent news, I just hope we don't get shafted like we did when we had Danny Drinkwater on loan.....
