I'm only pointing out that you feel it's only our club that have those ideals. As you seem to aim it our board of directors. My point being it's widespread throughout football. I'm not saying Bobby wouldn't be able to express views as anyone would be stupid to ignore any input if it is valuable. But to go against the strategy totally. Would not be beneficial to either Party.
You would hope that people who actually know something about football would be allowed the opportunity to be heard if a strategy as put upon them that was unlikely to be successful and fail to meet the objectives of those setting strategy. It is my perception that such input is not welcomed, let alone heeded.
Missing the point and gone off on a tangent. Whether I or you like it or not. the board have made it quite clear. THE STRATEGY That is. And strongly believe that that is the way to go to try and make us a successful but sustainable club. Many businesses including football will suffer the Pain in the short term if necessary. But with a mindset that will achieve success. As I say I am not happy with the position we are in and can only hope it will be turned around. The directors strongly believe it will turn around. But also realise that the manager be given that chance with HIS own selection of backroom staff. I'm pretty sure the new manager is happy to go along with the strategy. Else he's come for a quick pay day. Back to my main point very few clubs are run on sentiment. On occasion a manager/employee may be pushed upstairs so to speak instead of getting sacked.
Daniel was happy to come here until they took their ideology to extremis. And lets be true, this is absolutely not a strategy. Its ideology. January will tell us if it is a puritanical ideology above all else or if they wish to try and achieve stability in this league. we are only 5 points adrift which really isn't much at all. But at our best, we've still been beaten and should we lose Mowatt and Woodrow and replace them with another foetus or two... well, that's a big big ask for any team. I'm not missing any point at all. The point is constant. Everything is for sale. Nothing is sacred.
Going back to your statement above I do believe we've gone of on a tangent. Based on sentiment not the norm. I'll leave it at that and we will agree to disagree.
Seems my last comment was the same as the first, that's a pretty flatlined tangent ;-) But content to park it, on that basis.
Your last comment was referring to the first one which is based on the fact you hoped Devaney and Hassel we're not going to be given the push so to speak. (Or did I misunderstand.) So we did in fact go off on a tangent.
Was referring to your 1st and last comment on this. Your latest comment to G.O. does him a disservice. Your comments on Devaney and Hassel as being hopefully kept on ARE based on sentiment. And saying nothing is sacred is AT THIS CLUB emphasises that. His comment was quite reasonable.
Been trolling me weeks, but I thought you’d parked, maybe get Johnathan greening to help with the tangential handbrake
