The only laughing is being done by the people who've gone online to screenshot it to put on their own fan forums to take the p**s out of us. Doubt they'll buy the costume itself.

You must be seeing something completely different.

I bet it breaks records for shirt sales.

    We're laughing then.

It was posted by the BBC on one of their Facebook pages with 6 million likes. I've seen it on lots of popular pages like Oldham Groundhopper who's a lad in his early 20s who's been to over 300 grounds at all levels, and the Football Accumulator page

    So much free publicity.

Despite my opinion that the new shirt is dog, I hope you're right.

See, if we were going retro that would have been my preference, I think.

Looks like a few teams are giving a modern twist to an old kit. This is the new Liverpool away kit with a nod to the 90s away kit.

Ghastly American influence. Completely devoid of any design style or class.

Maybe it's an optical illusion for me and others who have mentioned it. That top star you've posted isn't the same as the one I'm seeing on the shirt, i see complete triangles. Anyway I'm out, it's getting daft now.

Don't get all the fuss, it's a red and white shirt ffs. As long as we don't revert to blue and white stripes I'm good with it.

I’m not sure what you mean by ‘complete triangles’, sorry? I can just see a solid white block star. I’ve tried zooming in on the shirt to see if there are the triangle lines drawn on the inside but I’ve only got a small phone so I might be missing it.

As in the lines are straight, not at an angle. Don't worry, I didn't want to go down this road, I'm only replying to people as I don’t want to be rude :D
