Surely you remember the all red kit when Currie and Lowndes were playing. Can’t remember the exact seasons but it was late 80s/early 90s
Really good effort on all fronts, even if the home kit isn’t for me to wear! Still like the fade to white! Nice to see some thinking outside of the box for a change. Class gk kits too. Well done club.
Can't the club hold a ballot on this? Reading across various social media sites and the consensus is that it's an utter embarrassment. Not too late to change it!!!
JAQs company sponsoring the women’s team. Think the white kit looks better here with the red vfiles logo. Actually the vfiles logo looks better on all the kits
Hate the home shirt. It's got so much going on its giving me a nose bleed. It's trying too hard and just looks naff. The black shirt is OK but (and I may be in the minority here), I do not like the Toby Tyke badge. Makes us look tinpot. Stick to the club badge.
That home shirt is absolutely horrific. Will we be coming out to star spangled banner and have firing range contests at half time? The black shirt on the other hand is a thing of beauty.
To be fair it's only a fiver more than 6th division Scarborough: 2023-24 Home Shirt – Scarborough Athletic FC Store And £25 cheaper than your average prem shirt. The clothing made for peanuts by kids in Cambodia argument can be extended across the fashion world sadly, it's not exclusive to Barnsley Football Club. Doesn't make it right, but I bet there's something in your closet that you paid over the odds for where the cost of actually producing it was 'peanuts'. Just highlights the disparity between the third and first worlds.
If they want a red theme but want to be daring and different, my vote would be the Croatia shirt. I think that looks class.
No. Strangely though, when I lived in Leeds, a lot of Leeds fans I knew were adamant we had in the 90s. So it's at least a recognisable badge.
The home shirt is the most embarrassing thing we've ever had. It looks like something a USA under 11's kid's soccer team would have worn in the 1990's. Why not go the whole hog and have boots that flash everytime you kick the ball... and a troupe of cheerleaders?... and a few sequins sewn into the stars... 2.55 on a Saturday afternoon we can all sing The Star Spangled Banner and recite the pledge of allegiance before the start of the first quarter.
