I've not read all the posts so I don't know if this is in there but as far as the flexi four tickets are concerned, you say you'd give them to a friend, relative etc to be able to attend with you if you had a season ticket but both would be in your name.
Can you forsee the computer gate system rejecting you or your friend entry based on the fact that two people are trying to get in with the same identity code.
I'm possibly making something out of nothing but get clarification.

I think the four game flexi ticket has been acknowledged by the club as one that you could give to a friend. I suppose the challenge would be sitting together rather than being rejected on the same code.

They're on about allowing crowds form October of 25%. Can't see how that would work. Would fans take it in turns?

I think this season pass idea rightly ends the 25% idea. I'm more bothered about hearing the board and players have taken a cut so we are all in this together, as so far we've only heard of Strubber taking a cut of 25% for three months.

Would taking a refund for the 4 games constitute a break in supporting the club. OAP tickets have 2 prices one for new supporters and one for those who have continued to support the club for so many years?

Some really interesting questions here & I imagine the club will have done what they can but won't have thought of everything.

@Loko the Tyke / @Gally - any chance of the Trust facilitating getting these questions in front of the club?

I don't think we'll need to based on what's being discussed/shared on Social Media. I believe a follow up announcement is due covering a lot of the big questions including QPR refunds.

Will wait and see though and ask if needed

I take people at face value, whether I believe it or not is irrelevant. But I will not criticise unless there is proper evidence. Then believe me I’d let rip.
I have lots of opinions on lots of issues. But to accuse people of doing. what some on here believe and not facts..No.

I’ve yet to hear anyone quote facts. That criticise the club at the mo. Only in the way they see fit.

    The policy . Explained
The financial side of running the club on an even keel. Explained.
The focus on creating and selling to balance the books. Explained.

The Daniel Stendel affair acknowledged as should have been better.

1 severe critic of the board I invited to come to the meetings I attend flatly refused. On the grounds he’ll not believe a word they say.
(Guilty till proven innocent. Whatever happened to the reverse)

A bad example I know but,
Ched Evans. Disgusting behaviour. But cleared of the accusations.

There are others on here who attend the same meetings. Views are put forward and we get replies. May be not the replies you’d hope to get back. Especially on recruitment. But they explain the reasons why.

The 25% idea I believe could work with a bit of thought. But it is a minefield at mo. They are obviously aware if a new season starts, then we won’t be able to guarantee any games opening up the doors until a decision is made.
Be interesting to see how a season pass works. Could they be thinking it will cover a number of games and push over into 21/22 as in the case of the 4 game passes.

Re the Struhber 25% pay cut. Wasn’t it a deferral. ?. If so 2 different scenarios. (Stand corrected if not)
Edit . Struhber 25% deferral. For Three months. Barnsley chronicle.

Who will take the money or vouchers?.

Reds give fans 3 2019/20 options and will offer discounted season tickets

    Monday 25th May 2020

Barnsley have explained their plans for backdating tickets for the 2019/20 campaign and committed to offering 2020/21 season tickets at a ‘heavily discounted rate.’

Season ticket holders can either claim a refund for the four remaining matches in the 2019/20 campaign, donate the tickets to NHS staff or exchange them for a four-game voucher. The club described the refund option as ‘morally a necessity’ but warned that, if all season ticket holders took it, the Reds would lose £400,000.

It is currently unknown when the next season will start or if fans will be allowed to attend. The statement added: “Due to this uncertainty and the need for urgent earnings to preserve the club’s immediate financial future, seasonal passes will shortly be made available for the 2020/21 season at heavily discounted rates.”

My issue is the four game ticket. What use is that if I also renew, to further back the club. As I plan to do?

Everyone says give it to friends or family. Nothing in the statement says we can do that - if so, I at least understand it. Even though it wouldn’t be much use to me. Could possibly bring another of the kids if she wanted to try.

I’ve no intention of asking for a refund. The nhs workers etc I imagine will have more than they will want. I just didn’t see the point in a four game pass if they also want us to renew. Nothing said it was transferable to others, and I’m still not convinced it definitely is.

I await the plans and prices but I don’t imagine I won’t renew mine and my son’s. The lad turned 12 during last (this?) season so his was due to go up quite a lot so I won’t expect his to be cheaper - I’ll be interested to see how much mine is this year though.

If you've no use for it, then it isn't the option for you so get a refund or donate them. I'm going to get it and give it to my dad.

    1) Ask for a refund and use the cash to put towards a season pass for next season.

    2) Donate your four games to the NHS.

    3) Keep hold of the four games and take a friend or relative to games of your choice for free.

Exactly, I don't know why anyone would complain that an option that doesn't appeal to them personally is available to other people. If it isn't something you want, just take it out of the equation and look at the other options until you find one you like.

The problem I have with the flexi deal is what sort of a person that makes me if I give someone the chance to watch rubbish football for free :D

That’s what I’m asking - I’ve edited the post. Are we sure we can do that?

I’d also be interested to know if we can use them for cup games etc.

Also something daft like, my lad has an under 12 season ticket but doesn’t qualify for that next season - I assume he’ll be allowed to still use the 4 games?

I know they can’t answer every eventuality. And I do plan on renewing anyway. All I wanted to know was what use the flexi might have. If I can bring other people or use it on cup games, it might have use.

    I’m not complaining, I didn’t understand the point/

You are all assuming, I imagine correctly, that we can share them with friends and family. If that’s the case then my question is answered.
