    The option to buy would expire when you send him back to the parent club. That’s not to say we can’t still buy him but that now they are obliged to sell him.

    From time to time a link gets posted about the supposed wages of the squad. I don`t know how accurate these are but I wondered if anyone had a link.

    He has to be released, he's not ours. We have an option on him though so he may well become ours when transfer window opens. I like him, would bring him in.

    I interpret it on Williams and Cadden as that any contract offers made were already rejected. If they were still considering one then they'd be classified differently. I suspect the club knew all of them were planning to move on long before the season ended, so might not have even bothered with the futile offer.

    I guess we will find out once the window opens - I think even if we are signing him he still goes back as far as the retained list goes. Im sure we had an option and the club have said nothing about whether they are taking it

    Not sad to see any of the senior players leave to be honest but obviously all depends on who comes in.

    Benson and Oli Shaw are two others I would have expected to be released.

    They’re still under contract so unless you’re suggesting we spend money to cancel the contract early, not much to be done.

    Can’t say I’m sad to see the senior players leave, a couple of them clearly didn’t want to be here & it showed. I’m assuming Styles will come back, let’s hope someone will buy him, albeit at a fraction of what the club think he’s worth.

    But by god whoever comes in has got a monumental rebuild job.
