I have to agree. We are getting far too many injuries for it just to be an unfortunate coincidence.

We've 5 players in the team who have played as a center back what are the odds on Bristol scoring from a corner or crossed free kick:D:D

Not for me. We didn't have a midfield at times last weekend

Moon has to be his secret love child. No other explanation why he plays the full 90 minutes every week. And in midfield too…..bonkers.

Madness, some people call it Madness.

Great Andersen is back & front three look decent. I'm perplexed by the midfield. Hope I'm wrong.

I dread to think how this is going to end.

In all honesty, I'm happy with the back and front 3. I'm happy with the keeper, and 2 of the 4 midfielders. I even rate Jordan Williams, although he's not had a great season.

If he isn't playing Hondermarck though, he really needs to go with Benson or Palmer in midfield. Moon is a centre half, and a young one still finding his feet in the Championship at that.

I do think that 11 is capable of winning the game though, with some good options to come off the bench.

I’m assuming Styles is injured with him not being in the squad, and Benson not quite ready to start. I’d still have Palmer in the middle over Moon though.

Before the last match I was told that Styles had a muscle tear so was surprised to see him play. He didn't look up to it last match so maybe it's correct.

I think in their wisdom, those above see him as our best potential talent, (cash cow) so Schopps instructed to play him every game, keep him in the window.

I love Styles but he’s been pulling for a few weeks now. Can’t remember his last good game.

Got to agree. He was poor against Utd.

Maybe a rest will do him good. Great player still.

    I know.

But it’s got to be said. We’ve struggled with injuries, and those who haven’t, seemed to lack fitness/pace.

Sibbick’s lost that extra yard of pace that saw him take Sol’s place.

    Palmer can’t last 65mins.

Styles also seems a touch slower.

Plus the injuries - which may be a direct reflection of the initial lack of fitness.

I’m not sure where the blame fully lies due to rumours of lack of training intensity, but certainly we know the players came back less fit from the summer than normal. The CEO confirmed it.

It's going well so far. I cannot complain. Of course this about the time Barnsley have been losing their way in recent matches.
