PLAYER AVAILABILITY “Nothing new to report at the moment..........................We will have to wait and see tomorrow, but I don’t think there’ll be many, if any changes.” Blatant lie, unless he was intending to play Williams with an ACL
He's not going to publicly tell the opponent's that we have injury problems with players out the day before the game. Give the guy some credit
Then why say anything at all? Show our own supporters some respect and give us some credit ffs. And I really don't think that a statement published on our website at 2pm on Friday afternoon is going to change Derby's preparations in the slightest.
Because he's in a press conference. The days when we used to find out the team at 5 to 3 on a Saturday, postulating about why so-and-so's in or out, are long gone. On the flip side this constant need to know who and why they're in or out is way ott by a lot of people. In my opinion
Nowt to do with any of that. I don't lie and don't take kindly to being lied to as apparently was the case - it's one standard I still cling to in this horrible world even if the country I live in is led by a compulsive liar.
Who's lied to you? Not me ffs. What difference would it have made to you if it was announced at the Press Conference that Jordan was injured and not playing? I would suggest that it wouldn't affect you at all. Furthermore, the gaffer may not have even known at that stage. He might have been going for a scan in the afternoon. Like I said why the constant need to know the injury status of every player is, to be quite frank, getting a bit annoying.
Struggling to understand your stance on this. I would expect our head coach to be secretive about team selection in every game unless it's an obvious one. He isn't lying to us. He's lying to the opposition. He definitely isn't being disrespectful. Bizarre.
