    Generally speaking yes it is but it's a bit daft including him alongside 3 other defenders at the expense of a midfielder

    Time for Kane to step up and give a stand out performance.He is good enough.
    Dont see walton or collins one being any weaker than the other.
    I would prefer the size and power of vic and Morris with Woodrow but may work in last 20 mins.
    Sibbick has done well, we haven't looked weaker in defence with him there.
    I think we will see Styles in centre mid in the second half with Oduor or williams coming on.
    Basically not worried it will be more of the same, hopefully we can get a goal and hold on.

    Unfortunately just recently the ball has been continually hoofed over the heads of the midfield so perhaps Val's tactics this afternoon have been somewhat telegraphed by this teamsheet? I hope not because as proved against Norwich, we have a very effective midfield and play better when we utilise them.

    Sibbick and Williams have also filled in at central midfield in the past. I'm not saying it's ideal but we do have more options that are being portrayed in the thread.

    Why would we settle for players just 'filling in' tho? Shouldn't happen unless your up $hit creek with injuries and not in a transfer window

    Couldn’t agree more. There’s a reason one of those two has had loan spells (albeit has improved significantly) but nowhere near the capability and experience of Solly.

    I'm not unduly concerned. We have a decent squad with players who can play in more than one position but then I'm glass half full type of guy ;)

    Sibbick....he should be backup not starting, Moore eventually bullied him into submission on Tuesday that wouldn’t have happened to Sol, he’s our best CB, just don’t get it at all.

    This **** happens when a gaffer has a bit of success they think they can walk on water n' tinker to try to freshen it up. Invariably it costs points and sets comfortable teams on losing runs.

    I call it splitting atom or plain losing the fck in plot.

    Sollbauer should be in the team and why sign Morris if we aren't going to play him ffs. I'd rather have Oduor or Williams at left back and Styles partnering Mowatt in midfield.

    We'll get bear today because Val has pissed about with team again.
