The cynic in me thinks that the EFL believe a word our CEO says about as much as the fans do. Considering the covid infections are dropping throughout the country right now and isolation periods have been significantly reduced it seems odd that we are so short of players related to covid. It's 12 days since we cancelled our last game due to covid so unless we are really really unlucky those players shouldn't still be out with it and we have played a game since then. Could it be that they've listened to our excuses about injuries and said piss off Barnsley these aren't genuine injuries. Get the game played?
