You wouldn't see Barry Gammon tearing up like that when he leaves. Probably the Wednesday fans will, cos he'll end up signing for Curzon Ashton for 50k
The tears are mostly for the backroom staff, team mates, physios etc that he has worked with. 4 years at BFC has given him the opportunity to play in the Premier league which may then give him an international call up which is what he appreciates our club lot for. The fans are part of the above and he would have enjoyed the support and cheers when we were winning more than the boo s from the stands or social comments when the team didn't perform well.
That's what I was thinking. You don't get emotional like that when you are moving from job to job surely, particularly when it's to one at a much higher level and on more money. Find it all a bit odd and possibly stage managed.
Definitely not stage managed but very much like the interview he gave on joining, expressing his feelings and emotions. Good on you Mads!
