Same prices for home fans looking at their site: https://ftfcstore.com/events.aspx although more expensive than other home games.
Hope someone can help here If I want to buy a ticket as early as possible on a particuar day, what time do they go on sale (online)?
I'm not one to criticise the club regarding ticketing arrangements as often you cannot win. However, I find it very shoddy that it seems the Blackpool cup game isn't included in the recognised games for priority tickets. Having travelled with nearly a thousand other fans on a wet night to watch half a team play half a game, in a glorified friendly match atmosphere, I'm annoyed that this ticket doesn't count. Upon purchasing the Blackpool ticket we were advised to assign it correctly as it would count towards future games, yet this is now not the case. I will probably miss out on Fleetwood, having being at work for the Rochdale and Scunny games. I have a Bradford ticket, but now the Blackpool one cannot be used as the 'second' ticket, I'm quite miffed.
League games should always count as priority for other league games. But I would have had a one away game category for the blank Wednesday, Blackpool category for Thursday and then wait till Friday for season pass holders with no away history. It's not like we have to rush sell them next week when it's still weeks away and with them not on sale yet it's not too late for the club to reconsider their structure and do the right thing.
That is harsh indeed. It should count. I used a holiday to make that game, to see a much-changed side capitulate in front of less than two thousand fans. I got home at 00:40, and started work at 8. I know, poor me, right? It's my choice how to spend my money and free time, blah, blah, blah, but it should count.
They'll more than likely go in the first couple of days. We had 2,550 at Bradford, 1,700 at Rochdale, 2,300 at Scunny. Most attended at least two of those games. There are 1,100 available for Fleetwood. My guess is they'll be gone in the first two days, but we shall see. It's positive anyway, selling out every Saturday away game. Hope that continues.
In that case, it would have changed to three league away games AND Blackpool away, first priority. Then three league away games. Then two and Blackpool. Etc. He still wouldn't have got one. I think it's as fair as it could be. Unless I'm missing something.
Just seems poor that those who have already been to a league away game or witnessed that shambles at Blackpool will have to hope for the best with season pass holders who haven't been away this season, on the thursday mad rush. It will still sell out next week anyway.
At such an early stage of the season what would be wrong with just saying two away tickets? I don't see why the Blackpool game shouldn't count or is being treated differently. If we get a plum FA Cup draw, would priority be given to the Blackpool game only? I doubt it. Three away tickets, then two away tickets etc, with Blackpool being inclusive. Especially given it's a League One opponent I just don't see the need to exclude it.
As I've just explained, those who've attended the MOST games will have priority and it could easily be sold out on day two. And why you and others reference the Blackpool game as a 'shambles' I will never know. As though that makes a difference to your chances of getting a ticket. So those who saw us smash Rochdale and beat Bradford shouldn't get a Fleetwood ticket because they saw a non-shambolic performance?
I have no doubt it will sell out really quickly, but that's not the point I was making. I was asking why those who have been to just one away game in the league or only been to Blackpool don't have priority over those who haven't been to any away game this season. I don't get why we don't have a category day for next wednesday so that if any are left (which I doubt anyway), they can go to those who have at least been to one game this season.
The Fleetwood game is a league game. Had we won at the seaside and got a plum draw in the next round of course you'd have had priority. I'm sorry the criteria has ruled you out, and others too. But there are only 1,100 tickets. If you drop me your email address or a contact number in a private message I will get someone tomorrow to contact you and clarify things 100%. Cheers.
Blackpool was a cup game at £10. Had we got into the next round, those attending Bloomfield Road would have had priority. Fleetwood is a league fixture with a very small allocation. Of course those attending three/two league away fixtures get priority. I can't put it any clearer than that.
I totally understand and they deserve it. But why not category on Wednesday for one away game history? If by some miracle any are left by Thursday I think it's unfair those who have only been away once don't have a tickets day before people wanting to go for the first time this season. We are going around in circles anyway so I'll say no more.
The club will always be criticised whatever criteria is chosen. I am a ST holder who would like to go to Fleetwood as I live 12 miles away. I went to Blackpool but have not been to any away league games so far. Trouble is, not being able to get a ticket means those who do get one now have 4 'stubs' making it even less likely I can get a ticket for future matches. Not sure if it will even matter as tickets may not be restricted. To be fair, I only tend to go to away games local to me. I usually get to Wigan, Blackburn, Bolton, Preston, Burnley (but not this year), Blackpool , Fleetwood. This year I will also want to go to Accrington, and roll on the day we get to play AFC Fylde (in the cup obviously) when I will be able to walk to the ground (probably won't be able to get a ticket!) The fact we're even talking about this is because we are off to a flyer. Come on you Reds!
