Mate I think you must be as thick as **** if you beleive that load of PC crap . We've flogged an average player to maybe replaced by another average player and so the perpetual banal wheel keeps turning .
Lol wtf? he's said it twice in this thread himself. You're hardly one to take the moral high ground with some of the stuff you come out with.
Might just be me I suppose but I’m honestly underwhelmed by the fuss over him going As far as I can see he runs about a lot and scores the odd goal, get somebody in his place with an eye for a goal and they will be prolific in comparrison
That's what the statement says. His valuation was met. The board discussed it and all parties agreed that accepting the offer was the correct decision.
I was under the impression his contract runs out at the end of this season. He expressed desire to leave for personal/family reasons. £1.25 million is being rumoured which is decent, or we could have let him go for nowt in the summer..... no brainer for me... and I am certainly not "Thick as F U C K" thankyou very much
Should we not have plenty of cash from all the player sales and add ons we have had over the last 2 years?
Don’t see why there’s loads on here that have for their knickers in a twist over this announcement, as if it’s not been splashed all over here for the last 24 hours? For whatever reasons he wants to go to Millwall, they bid high enough for us to accept the transfer. And now the board are saying all the money will be reinvested back into the squad. So I’m not sure why there’s people crying on here? Did you expect several transfers to be in the minute Bradshaw had been confirmed for Millwall? I think it’s time some people returned back to reality.
It’s just been announced? Maybe give him a couple of days to put something on and then get the pitchforks out? Edit: he’s put one on.
"Club record" being touted on SSN. That makes it more than £800k. Whether its £1m or £1.5m... I think its good business personally. Fair play for rejecting early bids and its pushed the price up for sure. But its telling there weren't other clubs interested and that the transfer fee is at the level it is. Let's see who they bring in. Winkler was suggesting they may get more than 1 player in and they may assess different types of players, maybe wide ones that could play 4-3-3. I think this provides us with a good opportunity to shape the squad more in what Stendel and his team want. If we don't bring in someone, we've screwed up. But let's see where we are in a weeks time.
I never really thought he was all that good to be honest. Wholehearted certainly, but hardly irreplaceable. Obviously Millwall see something I don't but, of all the transfers out I have had to endure over the years, this one is a shoulder-shrugging one for me. Time will tell....
The terms of the deal from millwall might have been we sign him now or it,s off ,what do you think would have happened then would Tom have carried on running his blood to water,I agree sooty we have done the right thing.
Good luck Tom top bloke and always gave his all I must say it is pretty amateurish not having a replacement through the door before allowing the deal to go through.
Wouldn’t have a problem with him going for top dollar provided we had cover in the building. However, he has gone for less than market value (again) and we don’t have a replacement. Really, really poor. And why now? Right at the end of the window. Absolutely barmy. Well done BFC. Great start to the season, everyone on side and chuck it in the bin. Send the message we are tin pot too. Why do we always sell and then start scrambling around? Just need Keiffer injured now and that’s that.
