Yourself and Farnham have it about right. And like you say, this was dropped on us this morning so we will update fans accordingly in the near future.
As an International iFollow Season subscription holder, all I know so far is that I will not be allowed to watch the Forest game on 05/09/2020. Hopefully, I will still have access to stream all Home and Away Championship fixtures, but as the iFollow site is down, I can't confirm this.
Well not grumbling at all. Club are doing what they can on this and can only allow what is in the agreement with EFL/Broadcaster. Plus, normally with a home season ticket, we wouldn't expect to get to watch away fixtures unless paying extra so happy with the offering.
From the official site today ... "It is to be noted, that due to EFL regulations, Carabao Cup matches are only available for general purchase in the UK only. They are not available outside of the UK for iFollow seasonal, monthly or match pass customers and the club cannot give free access to season card holders."
That seems strange - has someone else got the internet streaming rights for Caribo cup then ? So there is no legal way you can watch it seems a bit strange
I've just checked, and ESPN+ are carrying the Carabao Cup over here, which I subscribe to. However, they are covering the following games on that day: Derby County vs. Barrow Walsall vs. Sheffield Wednesday
https://www.examinerlive.co.uk/sport/football/news/three-year-prize-freeze-incentive-18829464 Huddersfield are doing well in letting anyone who renews this year have a prize freeze for the three seasons after this. They are also going to contact each ticket holder for their views so they can work out things like social bubbles. What clubs don't want is someone being allowed to go to a game but because of how safe they feel, got other plans etc the seat stays empty when someone could have had it.
Just looked at their prices. Seems a bit daft having a Seniors category when it's the same price as an adult. They even stipulate that it's over 60 to get your ticket at the same price.
I just went onto iFollow to buy a pass for the Forest league cup game. I'm a Reds Reserved Plus member. I understood my season pass would not include Carabao Cup games which I totally understand, I don't recall season tickets ever including cup games. However when I went onto iFollow I got this message:- I know I've not bought a pass for this because I'm in Spain and my ferry crossing was cancelled by Brittany Ferries. I was waiting to buy a pass once I knew I would be able to use it - this was dependant on when my revised ferry crossing was scheduled and I only received this today. This message seems to clash with other statements on BFC web site...........
