Looking at the regs I think it can be seen as
a triangle and an oblong and not one large oblong. If you see it as one large oblong then the 2 triangular pieces of shirt showing below the eagle can be subtracted from the total area according to the regs .

I don’t think the logo is anywhere near as big as the hex one was, which was pretty much the full height of the shirt.

I’d be very surprised if it’s breaking any regulations.

Correct, in the pic shown by Supertyke there is quite a bit of space between the wings and writing that would be deducted.

I based it on the bottom logo here which shows it all as one area and also shows that it isn't a case of drawing neatly round everything and only including the physically coloured in areas but is a broad shape that goes around it all. In fact that's also the case with the Nike one too isn't it? The bottom one though which I think is Cineworld is the one that is closest to ours in that it's a logo at the top and writing below and it clearly shows that the regs are the entire area.

I’m not following my mobile phone provider on Twitter. The only reason I would would be to complain so I could dm them. Maybe they’re just really reliable :D

If you read text below the image on the page it says to deduct C,D & E from the area(that’s how I read it anyway).

Yes but c, d and e are outside the general area of the image, the wings on ours are inside it.

The way I see it (and I could be wrong) is that the logo as we have it is the area inside the crudely drawn red lines

But it appears you and a few others think it should be the area inside these red lines instead

I don't think it should be as the examples shown by the fa don't follow that philosophy, if they did the Nile tick would be cut out not a box round it and the Cineworld logo wouldnt be a massive square around it all.

Had the wings been the other way up that would be different and the outer edges of the logo could then be construed as this

Not 100% if I'm right or not but it's how the rules look to me.

It's actually much bigger if you lay one over the top of the other.

I’m going to see if I can have it on a shirt today so I’ll measure it!

Just looked at the picture of bloke in the Twitters. He was in The Last Heretic with Neerav and his mates at Burton. Me n are lass wondered at the time, why some random Americans would be at the match. Makes sense now.

Little confused by this. They're a small virtual network operator from another country. To give an idea of size, I'm on ID Mobile, a UK virtual network operator you've probably never heard of. ID mobile has a million contracts/subscriptions, US Mobile has a tenth of that. So, they're advertising to push their product. Makes sense, yet none of their potential market will ever see it. Unless they plan on expanding operations and moving into the UK market. But US Mobile (and that big eagle) as a brand will not be successful here. Far too much USA scepticism. I'm not saying those behind it won't be successful, but they'll almost certainly be advised to rebrand for the UK market (if that's what they intend to do). But we've got US Mobile on the shirt. Hope it's bringing in lots of money for the club, but struggling to understand any benefit for the sponsor. Unless they're fanatical Barnsley supporters and this is the cheapest way to get a box in the East Stand.

Looks good on the red shirt but doesn't work with the others.
