Yes mate. But don't ask me loads of questions on it because I'm clueless, and that's despite talking to Dave and his staff many, many times over the years. I'm old and barely recall what I had to eat the day previous.
While we're discussing the pitch, I have to say I don't think it's ever looked this good, this late in the season. Absolute carpet.
Well said @Terry Nutkins .The way everyone connected with the club speak about Rimmo and your Dad shows how much they loved the club and what great servants they were to it. Looking forward to cheering us on to promotion from the Norman Rimmington stand!
There's no-one more deserving of their name on a stand than Rimmo, but I thought the reason it hadn't happened previously was at his own request. I assume that the family were consulted beforehand, and it's good to see him remembered in this way. I did the stadium tour a couple of years ago and it was quite emotional standing near the picture they had of him inside the home dugout.
Way before my time but I was always brought up hearing about “Mr Barnsley” as Johnny Steele. Would be nice to see him have some kind of recognition. Agree about Eric having a stand named after him.
There is a reason why the North Stand was built so far back, but I can't remember what it is. Personally I think that the gap between the East and North Stands looks awful and it would be much better if the North Stand had been built closer to the pitch, but it's not random why it's like that
I've said that myself ,I hope this gets commented on by the sky pundits. Top marks to the groundsmen it's a shame to dig it up and re seed.
Arnold Arnold Arnold Rimmer, hes probably got a garden strimmer, and hes more exciting than Yul Brynner,
