Don't know if we've got much choice other than to pay him off. He's still contracted for another year as Flicker gave him a two year contract. Well, the club did, I would imagine under Flicker's advice.

Aren't they cheap? I've no idea what they're on to be honest.

Dawson will more than likely be gone anyway with the court case looming.

I've always liked Etuhu as a central midfielder. I wouldn't keep him as a RB or winger though.

I think everyone wants Kennedy gone but shifting him without having to pay him off will be tricky

Thought you liked Etuhu anyway? Surely one game can't change an opinion so much?

To be fair, Kelvin has had some pretty strong matches at RB too...

I'm looking forward to us being competitive in a league we can win games, I won't however spend another penny watching that thing at left back.

Doesn't stop us from making him available for transfer, whilst bringing in a better player.

who the hell is going to pay that kind of money for O`Grady,he`s a load of rubbish,it would be nice just to get rid of him,all he can do is win a few headers, first touch is awful,

He was amongst the top scorers in the division for half the season, he obviously has it in him, unfortunately he couldn't pick up where he left off when he came back from injury.

Can't see anybody paying anything close to a million for O Grady or any of our other players. I'll be surprised if we get £350k tbh.

COG wad a good player using Flickers style. I could what he does under Wilson's hoofball. COG was the player who it affected most.

I agree, no clear out. Every one of who we have will be more than good enough in league 1. Just let us attack Danny.

The way I see it is, that if we stick with too many of the same players as previous, and we do get promoted, then we're stuck with the same side which took us down in the first place. I think we need to clear a fair few out, and build a side around the better players in the squad who were probably up to championship standard. Trouble being, the players good enough for the championship will probably be sold on.

    I always love these threads.

'Why do other teams get top dollar for their players?'

'Chris '1 goal every 3 games in a ***** side over a full year and lost form when he played every game and grafted like f.ck' O'Grady' is ***** we'll only get 350k'.

He's a limited target man but a target man that has scored 14 goals or so in a team that doesn't score or create chances. He's a 1 million pound player and the only one I imagine we'll get bids for.

We don't have enough talented players to attack as it stands

One step at a time - I am definitely not worried about whether the side we start next season with is good enough to survive in the Championship priority one is to make sure its good enough to compete at the top end of league 1. I agree we have a load of players we want to get rid of but there is a decent core of players who we should keep some would stay if we got promoted but some may need to be left behind if we are in that happy position.

Im not so sure we will be selling all our decent players either - we have a different attitude than under Rowing ( the fact that Cryne is no longer facing any court cases may be part of the reason ) so I think we will only sell if we think we can use the money better in other ways. I expect Cranie to go but thats because he wont want to play in league 1 I dont think Steele OGrady and Jennings will be so desperate to leave unless they get tapped up by someone with good prospects and I dont expect a long queue - I dont think Donny for example struggling at the lower end of the Championship are a much better proposition than us if we are near the top. - Goldbourne even dropped a division last season to play for a side that might win a game or 2 - a gamble that paid off for him
