What have you done in football to say the likes of Alex Ferguson are wrong? http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/2896...-is-the-only-world-star-england-have-produced
When and where have I said Xavi is wrong? And while you're finding the post show me where Xavi or any other player has said that Gazza is sh.it.
I don't get your point. . . . . But let me tell you something. Any opinion on footballers and anything football can be completely and utterly discarded after the way you talk about Paul Gascoigne. The other day on television, you may have seen it, the current England squad was on naming their favourite England players (the players you blindly bum over). Over half said Gazza. The man was the greatest natural talent that this country has ever produced. And guess what, he produced it in an England shirt on more than one occasion. No-one else has since him, except possibly Beckham. I don't know what it is about you that thinks you know more about football than everyone on here, every pundit that ever saw him play and other current and ex players who all seem to agree that he was a great of the English game. I've stuck up for you in the past. Actually even a bit this week. But you really are a ****ing sad arugumentitve weird lonely freak aren't you?
Don't be so ridiculous Phil. It's an individual sport, hence the term 'mens singles'. There is nothing about tennis even remotely similar to a team sport.
He was part of the England side that won the Rous Cup, and Le Tournoi. Now, whilst they weren't exactly World Cup's or Euro's, they were tournaments that England took part in, and won. So your statement is wrong, surprisingly. England didn't qualify in 94, correct. But Gazza was injured a hell of a lot back then. Gazza was key to England's qualification in 98, and was our best player away in Rome when we got the draw we needed against the Italians. Glenn Hoddle didn't take him to the finals, and instead we had David Batty.... No idea why you state 2002 and 2004 as years he wasn't good enough. He'd long since left the international scene, dipstick. The two trophies I've stated above. And the photo that SuperTyke posted that you conveniently ignored is of the Le Tournoi winning England squad, featuring none other than Paul Gascoigne.. You are correct though, you don't WIN when coming second or third. But why post that comment? That would be like me posting a comment like "the sky sometimes has clouds up there". And why do you keep quoting Tennis players to back up your pointless argument. Ayrton Senna once said that without natural God-given talent, you can try and try but you'll never be the best. Does that validate my argument that James Milner is absolute gash as a footballer? What have YOU done Phillip in football? And I suggest you were operated on (brain surgery) by a crack dealer who instead of repairing your brain, decided to just pad it out with cardboard. Ignoring the fact that this post seems to have been typed by a retarded ewok, can I again ask you why you are going from FOOTBALL, to TENNIS? Tennis is an individual sport. Today is the start of Wimbledon, where the SINGLES matches get going. The clue being the word I just capitalised. They may praise their coach, or their fitness trainer etc, but that's out of respect for them. But once they step out on court, they are ALONE. Therefore, they are NOT members of a team. *I have no idea why I have even bothered to respond. I would get a more reasoned argument/debate from Stephen Hawking on the day his machine goes back to Curry's for a tune-up.
Funnily enough I was just about to do that. I meant to do it over the weekend but somebody keeps calling Gazza a useless to55er and I keep biting.
Same here pal. I don’t usually bite with Phil but the senseless cr.ap he keeps posting about Gazza, medals being the only measure of a player and the fecking comparisons to that great team sport 'tennis' have had me biting like a mad dog. I really should know better at my age.
