You're a wag aren't you?

First you say my post was misleading, then confirm what i said all along.

Then you spit a load of weighted, opinion based rhetoric about why objectors shouldn't object, including accusing them of political bias.

Then you trot out a statement like, not understanding how it could possibly make morning travel difficult.

Ever tried the morning rush hour to Leeds or Sheffield, in pitch black?

I'll tell you summat - there are far more accidents, delays, tups, knocks and bangs reported on Radio Sheffield traffic before 8am than there are after 3pm mate.

    I'm sorry

    People weren't told.

They were asked "If that was the case, how would they feel?"

A rather back handed question considering that nothing has been proved.

It's the usual tripe with questionaires ain't it? When you can't get your own way, colour it up by bringing a bit of unproved emotion into it, then convince everybody that it's fact, when actually it isn't.

And no matter what you say, the answers to the two specific questions were less than a 50% yes - AND that's from a two thirds majority of Londoners!

    RE: wrong

Yes and to be on the correct time zone for the position they should be with us, not us with them!

    RE: you fail to mention

Well if you throw some random, arbitary fact at them to say it "WOULD" reduce deaths then people are bound to agree.
The fact is with that theres absolutely no way of knowing for certain.

    "Norway, Italy, Germany"?! Really

As for France, Spain etc - well they are the ones doing it wrong, not us!

As I've said before - the US seem to manage quite ok with different time zones within 1 country so there's absolutely no reason why Europe cannot function with varying time zones across different countries.

Not to mention many of the reasons "against" were grouped wrongly.....

e.g. Grouping together "dislike change" and "prefer it as it is" for example.
