Fao dys To May 2014 turnover was £9.37m Staff costs were £8.67m Leaves you £700k to run the Academy, maintain the ground, pay rent, turn the floodlights on etc. Tight to say the least. Either boost income substantially or cut wages...
Re: Fao dys Think I've found my position in the fans takeover. Floodlight turner onerer. I'll only turn them on when it's getting dark. Not when it's sunny. Downstairs for dancing.
What we need is one of our fans to win that big Euro Millions jackpot when it rolls over to around 100 million and then win it on there own. The weekly interest alone would be enough to live on and invest in the club without actually touching your original win.
Re: Fao dys Oi you, don't you let these factie type things get in the way of making slanderous comments against the owner... think on
Re: Fao dys I seem to remember in past years that disclosures in the accounts of both the club and OCA showed that PC had written off loans to both entities amounting to many millions. Can't remember which years though. The old adage, 'How do make a small fortune from a football club?' answer 'Start with a large one.' Comes to mind.
Re: Fao dys But do those accounts say where staff costs are or does it just hide it all under staff costs?c
Re: Fao dys But who's wages? A smallish company could have a wage bill of £500k per year and everyone would accept that is just how much is needed to run the company. In reality the company employs 3 cleaners, each on £50k each showing that rather than that be ng how much is needed the company is just being exceptionally badly run
Re: Fao dys 5 K Renew with the early bird for next season. And that's being Optimistic! Unless there is a change of course
Re: Fao dys Everybody employed by the club I suppose. It doesn't demarcate between footballers and everyone else.
