Yeah on paper that could be a plan but TBH Sturrage's performance last night was quite poor. Not too convinced about Barkley. Could be out played by the Itie defenders on the night.

One thing is certain. You can't afford to carry any passengers.

My prediction for the game in the BBS prediction league thingy is 1-0 to Italy.
Don't think you will be too surprised with that. LOL

I've a feeling Roy will play Milner on the right in front of Johnson as Johnson looks dodgy...Stones and Flanagan in squad for Euro qualifiers I think.

I just enjoy the football. I have no expectations of England, I'll not be surprised if they don't get out of the group, so while I'll cheer them on and want them to do well I won't feel much disappointment when they do crash out.

For what it's worth, I think the first decent side we play will beast us down the right hand side.

I'm a little like that myself mate. I hope to enjoy the tournament and should England prove a lot wrong and go all the way then well done. I'd be the first to congratulate them on any achievement. Only down side would be the media going overboard about it all. Only to be expected I suppose but not for the next 40 odd years. It has been murder here since 1966. LOL
I just can't stand the likes of that slimey get Lineker, and his mate Shearer gloating and over stating any England victory. Worse bit is when you do get beat or have a bad result the knives are out as quick as you like.

I say worst bit but from my view point it is quite funny.

That's true you will, it's bloody painful watching England even when we've had a half decent team. It's going to be a long time before you won't be able not to enjoy a world cup though :)

0-0 will probably be the score next Saturday as well.

With only 3 games in the group, losing the first puts a helluva lot of pressure on.

Yeah 66 you won't be far off there. Keeping a clean sheet will possibly be the order of the day for both sides.
