If we're going to do pedantry, you've rounded up from 329.5 and I think you're quoting the mean value.
Of course, as you cannot have half a person - so makes sense in this context (fans in attendance). Surely the mean is the best average to use for this data? What would you use?
We took 756 this season in the league. This is a lot higher than the previous few seasons average. This is a significant rise which suggests something: not quite sure what though.
691 according to my programme and the Millwall History site: http://www.millwall-history.org.uk/Millwall-Stats17-18.htm
Indeed. Our FOTB was told that this was moved because of the risk of a number of Barnsley hooligans being out for revenge after Wembley.
I can only speak from my own personal experiences, but all I saw was groups of Millwall and Barnsley both going for it. And is that a threat then?
Typical Millwall fan, All I saw was groups of Millwall fans Barnsley fans going at it,, IN THE BARNSLEY PART OF THE STADIUM I'd ban you all from every away ground until you changed .
But a team of around 50 barnsley lads got taxis from kings cross and turned up early doors at bermondsay in the league this season: millwall were embarrassed and would like to rectify this if possible, i'm led to believe.
It isn't a threat. Much like if a person I dislike is murdered by someone else, I am not responsible for it and never asked for it to happen. Am I happy it happened and do I feel an affinity with the culprit, though? Yes to both. I'm 5'6'', 10st, and have never been in any trouble, football-related or otherwise. I do not make threats. Should some Millwall fans get a good pasting up here I'd be overjoyed. Nothing to do with me, but hearing of it would please me.
I don't think Barnsley feel anymore animosity towards you than any of the other fans you've attacked over the years, and let's admit it, that covers quite a lot clubs fans going back a long way. We beat Oxford in the JPT final and probably goaded them when we scored, it happens all over the country every week, but the Oxford fans didn't feel a need to attack our enclosures, and there was no animosity before or after the game. I don't believe the game has been moved to protect Millwall fans. We had made the game into a family day where you could bring a friend for a fiver, besides, our fans don't randomly attack opposing ones just going to the game.
If it's to protect the innocent, darling Millwall fans from vicious Barnsley supporters then why has Millwall's game at Bramall Lane been moved, too? Either: 1) Barnsley fans are going to turn up at Sheffield United and attack Millwall supporters. 2) Millwall have a history of violent acts against Yorkshire clubs - they made millions of pounds worth of improvements to the S2 area after a game at Bramall Lane the other year, attacked us at Wembley and are always kicking off against Leeds - and hence they have to get up at 5am to travel here. Which is it? As much as South Yorkshire Police are, in general, over-zealous clowns, where is the problem? My first wife left me. The bitch. So did my second wife. Maybe the issue is with me as much as with her. And the third one, fourth one, fifth one, sixth one. I am beginning to see a pattern...
