We were playing alright at the start of the season but not getting results due to constantly conceding from set pieces/late on. We also suffered a load of injuries - Allen, Vincenti and Henderson have missed a lot of games between them - but those who came in found their feet and we turned the corner. Crazy looking things like sticking forward Joe Bunney at LB (a la Matty Done) have proved to be inspired and he's far more dangerous there than up front. The signing of Keith Keane and putting him at CH was massive too, he walks through games and we look more assured.

At home it's now nine wins on the trot, if we can start to get he odd result away it will bean interesting season. The division is VERY even. That S****horpe were so far clear at one point with a midfield of Dawson and Bishop illustrates that consistency rather than having brilliant players is key.

Well done hope you have a good 2nd half of the season and Burton and Rochdale is a championship fixture next season. We will be in the premiership obviously. But joking aside 10 home wins is some achivement especially with Jim mcnumpty in your side. Shame RNL doesnt seem to have kicked on though.

Aye, I backed you last night as it seemed a banker.

You've certainly began to string some results together at the right time. Sheffield United are overdue a wobble too.

Good luck to you, he continues to do a brilliant job on a small budget. I rate him as a manager, he built us an excellent side before it was ravaged by transfers & injuries.

It's not Christmas anymore, I hope Rochdale and the Blunts fall down that table rapidly.

It might not be, but this thread has now taken on a superstitious aura. Five wins on the run in total (alongside the ten at home)

We only need 7 more points to be safe.

Rubbish ! He had a long time to get more players in, but never looked likely to !
Good luck to him over on the darkside !

What's rubbish about what I've said?

I never said anything about the replacements. His heart weren't in it anymore after that side got broke up, you could see it in his interviews
