What an absolute ******. its the same bloody week that I'm in spain. Boooo You will have to cheer for me
Jeysus, I will get used to this division. When I saw the title of the thread I thought 'at least we haven't got someone from our division', but it seems we have! I thought Oldham were now floundering around in the bottom flight, but a quick look and they're in mid-table League One like us. I'm going to put a request to the Football League to reboot it, like what they did with James Bond and Batman. Maybe back to 1977-78, when I knew the name of every footballer in the league (you're such a sponge for information when you're 9 years old!). In fact, I use that season as my football ground zero, so I expect the league tables to look roughly as they did then. So we'll have Bristol City back into the Premiership please, Spurs and Mansfield in the Championship, we'll be back down with Southport and Darlington in League Two and Wigan can sod off back to the Conference.
Think I've been to Boundary Park more than any other away ground. Can't imagine I'll go again for the JPT. I'm still wet from one of our visits. Plastic pitch, open away end, freezing ******* cold all the time, Roger sodding Palmer (141 career goals, 139 against Barnsley), game called off for fog when there wasn't any, Gunnar cheating diving b'stard Halle. It's grim up north, but never more so than when we're playing at Oldham.
I remember it all very well. You forgot those anti hooligan pens they were fecking horrible. Nice pies though cant deny that.
