Not even just artists, there seemed to be more non-french people featured than french looking at the torch bearers etc. I get the idea of it being "promoting global unity" or whatever, but it makes them look a bit **** doesnt it.
Tbf they put on a show for the city. It showed Paris off wonderfully Think the athletes enjoyed it, rather than standing for hours waiting to walk into a stadium. Now onto the games, bring hone the medals GB!
To be fair to the organisers, celebrating France's contributions to the world would have been easy, but wouldn't have lasted long...I can only think of the bidet, the cheeseboard, the miniature poodle and onion soup.
