5 Lyles beat Thompson by 0.005 of a second - is that actually measurable - can the equipment used to take the 'photo' be accurate to the thousands of seconds? Not sure if I'm right here but in close swimming races they only go as far as hundreds of a second to determine the winner.
Given the time difference, the photo finish image is quite clear in showing the narrow gap between them (unlike for VAR in football, it's the torso that matters, not the longest fingernail, etc).
Brilliant viewing, particularly when two of them are trying to go in opposite directions around the same uphill gate.
