    When funding is 22.7 million a silver isn't enough. I can see funding being cut in the next cycle from Athletics and given to better value for money sports. London 2012 was suppose to inspire the next generation and it hasn't. I can't remember the last time we were so poor at track and field. I guess the mid 90s thirty years ago.

    What are you basing that on? TeamGB haven’t had loads of medals in athletics over the last 24 years. London was a home games which almost always sees an increase in overall medals.
