Hudson-Smith was giving it everything he had, 100%, I can guarantee you that. So how was Hall trying more? He may have had more to give, but that doesn't equate to trying more.
Again I didn't say Hall was trying more, I said he looked like he was trying more. We can only go off what we are watching.
Well Michael Johnson said he'd run the race well, he just didn't win He said Hall tactically ran worse, but it came off for him!
Hudson Smith has just run the 5th fastest time ever, a new European Record and got a silver to a guy who ran the 4th fastest ever. and you start with Poor and imply our guy hadn't enough determination, I don't know where to start on that post or your follow up
When he did track cycling, Mark Cavendish had a crash that resulted in splinters in his man bits. Ouch!
In rowing there are a few 'lightweight' events, which opens up the sport to people who are not built like a tank. I think there should be something similar in diving. A heavyweight category. For people who like doing flippy-spins into a pool but are no stranger to a Big Mac.
I'm watching the Omnimum(?). Literally not a clue what's happening other than lots of bikes doing about a 100 laps of a small oval but I just can't tear myself away from it.
KJT has done brilliant so far, especially with the shot putt. Thiam is a machine so if she beats her to gold she should get SPOTY. Looking forward to the 200 metre final coming up.
