Wish Leeds, Peterborough & MK Dons would give us permission to speak to their managers.

Agreed. Don't think he will come. More flack for Don.

Why? A chance to come back to England, bigger club, more budget, a chance to improve his English managerial record etc. More likely to be taken a punt on by a bigger club if he does well for us than at ICT.

Hate to be the snob but the stadium and training complex at Oakwell are much more enticing than Caley's setup. If he's going to travel down for talks and look round he's sure to be impressed.

It would be a step up for him in many ways, and a chance to make a name for himself in England and move on again to a bigger job than us, maybe even Premier League.

And as for the argument that he wouldn't want to take over a team that are bottom of the league, he doesn't seem the sort of man who shirks a challenge. After 3/4 years at Inverness, he's probably taken them as far as he could and he might fancy a new challenge with us.

They're half a season away from European football. Big incentive to stay id say.

But they get into Europe then what? One tie later they are out and the chance to earn better money at a bigger club is gone and he might have to wait a long time for it to retain.

Europa League Second Round Qualifying tie for them I'm afraid if they finish 2nd or 3rd and they won't win the league. They could potentially be drawn against a club smaller than any in the English Championship and not even make it through to the tournament proper, so not all that big an incentive in my opinion
