Ok, so what is disgraceful about it?

Getting to 8th after Palace game was a creditable achievement

there are no easy games in this league. Rebuilding is in place.

Got to be honest -I trust maths, and until we're mathematically safe i'm not happy.

Since the turn of the year
    W 4 D 2 L 11 That's a return of just 14 points from 51

We've got just 1 win in the last 11 games, netting just 5 points from a possible 33. Failed to score in 7 of those games.

Honestly thought in Jan it was going to be mid-table obscurity, instead we are looking over our shoulders again.

Also, I believe we have only come back twice this season from a losing position to gain any points (both draws) which shows an inability to turn a game around.

I agree with all of that, but I don't think it is disgraceful. I think there have been a number of factors, including the loss of key players to injury and departing the club and failure to replace the player we knew was leaving coupled with a loss of confidence.
