Thought about offering my services for free working a couple of hours a week just giving Gord a few ideas, its not rocket science is it?

    Dear Gordon,

    ADVERTISE:
    verb [I or T]
to make something known generally or in public, especially in order to sell it:
We advertised our car (= published a description of it together with the price we wanted for it) in the local newspaper.

    fair point..........

I suppose there is a minuscule chance that all Sheffielders might opt for the same team:D

    possibly

Its interesting how close we sit to the top of this table. Its therefore debatable how much more we could increase our crowd with marketing etc

Barnsley’s actual population is around 220000. Much higher that West Bromwich and quite a few more places in the league.

The main problem is the amount glory hunting never been Old Trafford Scum who live here.

Also the amount of young kids you see now walking in Chelsea shirts.

We have a decent enough population which is maybe similar to Derby’s. They have always had god support and other teams in the local area if you include the midland teams.

With regard to ticket prices what makes us different from the likes of some of the other teams in the league. Even Huddersfield probably get more than us in at the moment and again population wise I doubt Huddersfield has a higher population.

The thing is the passion for the sport in the area isn’t very high. Look at how many top players have come from Barnsley. Bet you can count them on one hand.

I have many friends who where definitely good enough and played for the youth teams but they where more interested in drinking, girls and hanging with their mates than the football.
